The MSR Home Emergency Water Filtration System is the perfect emergency water filtration system for anyone building a home disaster preparedness kit. This easy-to-use in-line water filter system threads onto standard home spigots or can be attached in-line to a gravity water system, providing clean, safe, high-flow water. Used by the U.S. military for more than a decade, this water filter is built with rugged ultrasonic welded housing for durability. The filter uses hollow fiber technology with a 0.2 micron filter pore size and activated carbon to provide reliable, safe, and taste-free water with a flow rate of 1.2 liters per minute. Hermetically sealed packaging protects the filter during long-term storage, so that it’s ready to go when an emergency strikes. Effective Against: bacteria (99.9999%), protozoa (99.9%) and particulate (dirt, microplastics). Meets U.S. EPA Guide Standard and Protocol for Testing Microbiological Purifiers and NSF protocol P231 testing standard for bacteria and protozoa. Includes the MSR Thru-Link In-Line Water Filter, inlet hose with universal faucet adapter, female quick-connect (CPC), and outlet hose with male quick-connect (CPC); measures 7.5x1.5x1.5 inches, and weighs 2.56 ounces. Cartridge will filter 1,000 liters (264 gallons) before needing to be replaced. Manufacturer’s 3-year limited warranty.
